The surface of the workpiece
During machining, three constantly changing surfaces are formed on the workpiece.
Surface to be machined: The surface on the workpiece to be cut.
Machined surface: The surface on the workpiece that is formed after the tool has been cut.
Machined surface: the surface on the workpiece where the cutting edge is cutting, which is the transition between the surface to be machined and the machined surface.
